Hyundai Has Big Changes in Store for 2025
Changes and Upgrades to the 2025 Hyundai Vehicle Lineup
Hyundai has some big changes in store for its model lineup in 2025. This includes a few all-new models, some product enhancements, and a few facelifts as well. Ray Skillman Avon Hyundai is here to break down the changes and additions to the 2025 Hyundai lineup.
All-New Models Debut Soon
Perhaps the biggest news for the Hyundai lineup is the pending debut of the all-new 2025 IONIQ 3-row SUV. There aren’t too many 3-row electric SUVs on the market, so the new IONIQ should stand out considerably. It’s expected to come out later in 2024. Meanwhile, the IONIQ 5 N is an all-new EV as well. It’s Hyundai’s most powerful production vehicle to date, with an electric powertrain that makes up to 601 horsepower and dual-motor AWD. It also includes the fun N Grin Boost feature to bring it up to 641 horsepower for a burst of speed.
Product Enhancements for More Capability
The regular IONIQ 5 will get a product enhancement with several new features. It may look the same, but it now offers a larger battery pack to improve its range. The IONIQ 5 will also use the NACS charging port, and a rugged XRT trim will join the lineup. The XRT features some off-road upgrades, like all-terrain tires, a higher ride height, and some visual tweaks. The interior of the IONIQ 5 has been slightly redesigned, and the infotainment system has been upgraded to a newer version. Several driver-assistance features join the list as well.
Santa Cruz Refresh
The Hyundai Santa Cruz is another model on the table for a big refresh. The compact pickup now features a more aggressive front design, new advanced safety tech, a redesigned dashboard, and enhancements to the XRT model. For the XRT trim, the list of upgrades includes front tow hooks, all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle, and wrench-inspired 18-inch wheels that are unique to the XRT. Two new color choices are available as well, including Rockwood Green and Canyon Red. The 2.5-liter turbo AWD Santa Cruz model is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Tucson Facelift and New Features
Many improvements are in store for Hyundai’s best-selling vehicle. The Tucson gets some dramatic cabin upgrades, a refreshed exterior, new convenience and safety features, a long list of trim choices, and new tech features. The front of the Tucson has been enhanced for a stronger and more rugged appearance. Inside, even more changes are present, including an open layout, more advanced infotainment, and a redesigned center console. The Tucson’s XRT trim also gets a few extras, like raised roof side rails.
