It was nice to work with a low pressure salesperson who cared more about finding me the right car than the first car. Low pressure and feeling able to drive a few things and see what fit was not my typical dealership experience in the past.

Hello, This was a great moment where I was buying new car. The moment which was filled with excitement, joy and happiness for what was about to happen which is to have a 2024 Hyundai Tucson. Here is what was interesting in this process it started just around 11:00 AM, I called RAY SKILLMAN AVON Hyundai and few seconds later a very professional G.S.A responded and transferred my call to someone who can help me…and guess what, JOSH is the person who assisted me via call, explain everything and I am sure he responded all my questions I was asking to the rate of 80% then the remain 20% I got it when I met with KENDALL who was there with me for testing the car, and for documentations and then she explained every single function of the car so that I can be aware and familiar with this brand new car Operations which were very different from what I was used to with the old car. True Professionals, From the moment Mitch (sales manager) answered my call to the final handshake to close the deal, the team at Ray Skillman Avon Hyundai were the consummate professionals. I called from out of state (1600 miles) to buy a very special used corvette and had to complete the transaction round trip within 4 days. Mitch made sure everything was coordinated with fine precision. While on the phone, Chad (appraisal technician) quickly took real-time photos of areas of concern I had and sent them to me for review. Upon arrival Mitch and team had the car proudly parked out front and in full view as I pulled up with my car hauler in tow. As Mitch introduced himself and showed me the car it was apparent that his personality and demeanor was both professional and genuine. We took the car for a short test drive and once we returned Mitch introduced me to Jay (junior sales associate) and said they would both be handling the sale as a form of mentoring for Jay. JT (financial manager) walked me through the legal process answering all my questions to ease my out of state purchase and tax/titling concerns. After the paperwork was complete it was time to load the car into my trailer and Jay and Bradon (junior sales associate) were eager to assist. After a quick discussion on the complexities of loading a very low corvette with front spoilers, the two expertly guided me up and into the trailer like a NASCAR pit crew. The two were laser focused on clearing tight gaps between the car and the interior trailer tire shrouds as well as front spoiler clearance moving up the ramp. From start to finish the whole team was cohesive and I could tell I was their priority for the time I was there. Thanks again to the whole team at Ray Skillman Avon Hyundai!

I wouldn't have thought that there's such a thing as a positive car-shopping experience until Ray Skillman Avon Hyundai. My husband and I went here with our two very young children after receiving a mailer with a personal sticky note from the manager that seemed too good to be true. After a stressful situation with and the unreliability of our old car, we were desperate for a different car. We got to the dealership and were paired with Gaino and Olen. My husband told them our needs for the next car and the two we were eyeing. Gaino and Olen were great salesman. They were not pushy at all, they were easy to talk to, they didn't try to convince us to go with any particular car or amenities package, and they were transparent through each step we took. They even allowed my husband to place our stroller into one of the vehicles to see how it would fit. When we finalized our purchase, they helped transfer our belongings from the old car to the new car, which was a lot (especially with 2 young ones). They were just all around awesome. JT, the financial manager, was incredible. When he first told us the monthly payment of the potential new car, my husband started to tell him that we thanked him for his time and apologized for having wasted his time, but JT asked us about what we could afford and took a few minutes to rerun things for us. Instead of a purchase, he proposed a lease and the options of what we could do with the car after the lease was finished. My husband and I liked the sound of a lease a lot better as it was all around a more affordable option for us. JT was genuinely concerned with and motivated in getting our family into a new reliable vehicle. He went above and beyond in helping us and ensuring that we could actually afford the payments. We left the dealership with a new vehicle and a weight off our minds and wallet caused by the old vehicle. We are truly thankful to JT, Gaino, and Olen. We didn't actually think we would be leaving with a new vehicle when we arrived, but they made it happen (all while making the experience a solely positive one). Thank you.

This review is overdue, but I feel the need to express how impressed I am with this dealership. Eric helped reserve a car that I had been eyeing, and Hayden and JT helped guide me through the test drive and leasing process from start to finish. All of these gentlemen were incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond in customer service.
